Hans Schoenmakers (born 1961) has an academic background in Law and Business Science. He began his career at the local utility in Rotterdam (1985–1987) before joining E.ON, where he held various positions over nearly three decades (1987–2016). He later served as CEO and Board Member for Uniper Benelux from 2016 to 2021. Between 2022 and 2024, he worked with Last Energy in the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) sector. In addition to his executive roles, Hans was a Board Member of EnergyNederland from 2018 to 2021.
