Aliki van Heek is a nuclear all-rounder with more than 30 years of experience in multiple areas: economics, sustainability, radioactive waste management, nuclear safety, high temperature reactors and other advanced reactors. She joined the Nuclear-21 expert partnership in 2023, carrying out various assignments in these fields.
Prior to this, she worked for seven years at the IAEA in Vienna, on the interface of energy, economics and environment. Before that, she held positions including Team Manager Decommissioning & Radioactive Waste Management, Programme Manager on 4th Generation Nuclear Energy Systems and Project Manager High Temperature Reactors at NRG in The Netherlands.
